Breeders Cup picks with full analysis of all the BC races. They are very strong. If they reflect my past Breeders Cups we are in for another big day. Take my picks and make them work for you. Good Luck
Keeneland 1st
4..Prime Engine
7..Recount
8..Bayerd
Keeneland 2nd
4..Sheikh of Shiekhs
5..Dan the Go to Man
2..Whence
Keeneland 3rd ( Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies 11/16M )
10..Songbird...Still hasn't been tested. Look for the same energy no matter what post she run's from.
3..Right There...Draws a nice post for a closer. Won't lose any ground out of the gate and when the speed horses start coming back he should be able to pick them up in the stretch.
9..Rachel's Valentine...Will be tested today. Post doesn't favor her. She will likely have to use to much out of the gate to get position.
Keeneland 4th ( Breeders Cup Turf Sprint 5 1/2F )
5..Lady Shipman...Clearly the horse to beat. If she runs her race. Will likely run away from this group
1..Pure Sensation..Speed from the rail and if need be can rate. Should pick up the pieces in the stretch for second
14..Mongolian Saturday...Has the credentials to be there. 6 out of 8 at the distance. Only bad thing is the post
Keeneland 5th ( Breeders Cup Filly and Mare Sprint 7F )
11..Judy the Beauty..Horse for coarse. 4 for 5 at Keeneland. Hard knocker has the best chance. Should sit off the pace and pick them up in the stretch
14..Cavorting...Horse is obviously a sprinter. Only time she's been beat is at a mile. 5 for 7 life time but undefeated in sprints. Take a look
3..Taris..Will be tested today. Has enough speed to carry her home for minor awards.
Keeneland 6th ( Breeders Cup Filly and Mare Turf 13/16 )
3..Legatissimo..Europe invader is lightly races but has showed she can run with the top runners abroad. Has enough tactical speed to stay close and unwind in the stretch
5..Photo Call..Another lightly raced and actually has some decent races in the states. Will be flying at the end.
11..Stephanie's Kitten..Post will give her a disadvantage but she's a plotted and always puts in a decent race
Keeneland 7th ( Breeders Cup Sprint 6F )
5...Run Happy...They clocked this horse 46 MPH. Faster then any horse has run since started to recording speed. Enough said
11...Barbados..Has enough speed to stay close to in a stalking position and as they fade in the stretch trying to chase Run Happy
13..Private Zone..always puts in a good race but will have his work cut out for him against top choice
Keeneland 8th ( Breeders Cup Mile 1M )
11..Karakonite...Last years BC winner showed he can come out of it from a outside post. Field seems weakest on the card but the winner has already established himself as a champ. Horse to best.
9..Esoterique..Established miler should be right behind top pick top pick coming for home.
1..Grand Arch..Another established miler and gets great post. Should get nice trip as he has enough speed to establish position going into the first turn.
Keeneland 9th ( Breeders Cup Juvenile 11/16M )
9..Exaggerator..Has the advantage on Nyquist. Only beaten a length last meeting. Turns the tables at a decent price today.
13..Nyquist..Undefeated proven runner has to overcome 13 post today and might have a problem clearing inside speed. Extra energy establishing position might take to much out of him.
7..Brody's Cause..Nice post but no speed and I think can only get minor share.
Keeneland 10th ( Breeders Cup Turf 1 1/2M )
9..Found..Got back on trac running 2nd in latest race. Nice prep for the BC. Really can't separate top choice and 2nd choice but think sitting outside Golden Horn should give him the advantage in the stretch
1..Golden Horn..Has a nasty habit of breaking slow. If that happens in the BC he opens the door for an upset.
7..Big Blue Kitten..Chad Brown has this one in fine shape. Don't think he's in the same class as top two
Keeneland 11th ( Breeders Cup Classic 1 1/4M )
4..American Pharoah...Triple crown winner had a slight burp in the travers. Been touting this horse since he's started racing. Picked him to win triple crown way before the running ant on BC day you'll see the how good this horse really is. So glad Beholder is in the race. You'll actually have a decent price on the Pharoah. He should be a open length winner with only one horse within 3 lengths of him.
3..Frosted..tried to change his running style to try to beat American Pharoah. Which ultimately proved to be his downfall in the Travers. He'll stalk and will have to be satisfied with 2nd again.
9..Honor Code..Really like the prep for this. Should pick up the pieces in the stretch.
Keeneland 12th
2..Sweet Success
6..Clothes Fall Off
7..Coco's Wildcat
Keeneland 1st
4..Prime Engine
